Many large rocks, which are believed to be relics of the Ben Ngu (Royal Berth) of the Nguyen dynasty, have been found by workers who were dredging the An Cuu river bed near the Ben Ngu in former imperial Hue city
The Hue Festival closed last night at Ngo Mon (Noon Gate) Square after nine days of various traditional festivities.
The Hue Festival has two new faces who have attracted audiences with their strange ideas. They are two South Korean artists, Choi Charlotte Jung Hee and Liilliil Kang So Young.
On the theme “Cultural heritage with integration and development”, Hue Festival 2008 officially opened on the evening of June 3 at Ngo Mon (Noon Gate) Square.
The Festival Hue 2008 in the ancient city of Hue will start next Tuesday. For nine days the city and its neighboring areas will be filled with arts, cultural performances by local and foreign artists, traditional festivals, folk games and the re-emergence of special events of the former capital city.
