The Hue Festival closed last night at Ngo Mon (Noon Gate) Square after nine days of various traditional festivities.
The Hue Festival organising board and the Vietnam Guinness Books Centre, Vietkings, on June 11 announced new records imbued with Hue culture characteristics.
The Hue Festival has two new faces who have attracted audiences with their strange ideas. They are two South Korean artists, Choi Charlotte Jung Hee and Liilliil Kang So Young.
On the theme “Cultural heritage with integration and development”, Hue Festival 2008 officially opened on the evening of June 3 at Ngo Mon (Noon Gate) Square.

Sculptors from around the world who participated in the fifth international sculpture camp in Hue are displaying their works at the Abalone resort & spa near the Tam Giang Lagoon. Twenty-five sculptors, including eight female artists from Vietnam have used blue and white stone this year.
